Tempera 03:30
Cast the first stone if you're able. Cast the first stone if you will. Between paper walls. Within the hallway that's narrowing itself, I'm taken by its awe. As I approach a bend in which the mirrors fail to show my skin, Filth and dirty smiles, They crowd each hanging frame. Cast the first stone if you're able. Cast the first stone if you will. Every wall is littered with the works of my past. And all the portraits my life has painted. I don't recall seeing any sort of a glare, Coming from eyes staring through the painting. Turning the knobs of brass, But every door is just made of glass. Breaking after each attempt, To rid myself from where I am. I feel the hour's here. This is chasing me. This is hunting me. They are chasing me. They are haunting me. All the stories that my mother read unto me as a child, Told of admirable characters for which, I did aspire. And I always thought that I could paint a picture of a life like this. Canvases, are weighing down the nails in the wall. They carry grief and a guilty conscience. I've realized that these aren't paintings at all. They're but reflections of my appearance. Turning the knobs of brass, But every door is just made of glass. Breaking after each attempt, To rid myself from where I am. I feel the hour's here.

Setting Sail 04:55
There was wind and a calm blue sea, A broken bottle, we’re finally free… Adrift and all hands accounted for, But you don’t have your hands anymore in my dreams…   Pray for men at sea: “God, leave them be!” Who knows where they’ll go? “Lord, bring them home!”   So raise your flags high, Setting sail for a lifetime of doing what we want to do… Night watch over, Are you ever sober? Knocked off course with a storm coming through…   We’ll wait once more, We’ll have to drag this ship ashore… Calm seas, midnight breeze, And we’re still waiting for you to board…   This ship will sink to the ocean floor, Remember what we’re here for or this ship is going down…   Sea crest secrets, God, I’ll never keep it…   Loose lips sink ships, God, I’ll never keep it… Spilling my guts like the waves crash to the shore… Drop the anger with the anchor, Upset about my net yielding more…   “Lord, bring them home!”   We’ll wait once more, We’ll have to drag this ship ashore… Calm seas, midnight breeze, And we’re still waiting for you to board…   This ship will sink to the ocean floor, Remember what we’re here for or this ship is going down… If you insist on showing me your wounded hands, I’m forced to become an honest man and turn this ship around…   This ship is going down…   I just can’t wait to feel relief only a wave could understand, When it takes its leave from a Pacific beach and finally meets Atlantic sand… Oh I just can’t wait to feel relief only a wave would know, When traveling the deep blue sea free from the undertow…   We’ve held our breath for far too long, These sails are broken; these winds are too strong… So long old friend, please forgive me, As we throw you out into sea…   And you can just save yourself…

We’ll never change who we are We’ll never change So this is the end How terrible are we? When we decide to cut you out In your plan this is all you have And we take away your voice When we decide to cut you out To cut you out When we decide to cut you out To cut you out When we decide to cut Like surgery that’s likely to go bad I haven’t slept much recently So I’ll have shaky hands I hope I’ll never have to feel like this I hope I’ll never have to feel like this again I hope like hell that you wake up and feel regret So how terrible are you? When you decide to get cut out Scream until your lungs give out But it won’t help you No, it won’t help you It won’t help you
